HeySoror child safety standards
These are the published standards of HeySoror, operated by HeySoror Tech Inc., against child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"), including child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"). They apply to the HeySoror mobile application and to our websites, including join.heysoror.io.
Our position is absolute: there is no version of this we tolerate. CSAE has no place on HeySoror, and we act on it without regard to who reports it, who is reported, or what else that member has contributed to the community.

Who is allowed to use HeySoror
HeySoror is an adults-only platform for verified initiated members of the four Divine Nine sororities. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account, and we verify sorority and chapter affiliation as part of registration.
Minors may not use HeySoror. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to hold an account. Age is established by your representation at registration rather than by identity documents, so if you believe a minor holds an account, please tell us — a report is how we find out. When we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we terminate it.
What is prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including drawn, animated, or computer-generated depictions
- Sexualization of a minor, or content that presents a minor in a sexualized manner
- Grooming, solicitation, enticement, or any attempt to arrange sexual contact with a minor
- Trafficking, exploitation, or endangerment of a minor
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE material, or directing anyone to it off-platform
- Using HeySoror to plan, facilitate, or promote any of the above
Any of the above results in immediate and permanent removal from the Platform, regardless of stated intent, and without prior warning. This page states the child safety standard we enforce. It sits alongside the general conduct rules in Terms of Service §4.2 — which separately prohibit illegal activity and abusive content — and we act under the termination authority in §12.
How to report a child safety concern
In the app
Open Profile & Settings, go to Privacy & Safety, tap Edit safety, then tap Report & Block. Choose Report a User or Report Content, describe what you saw, and submit. You can report the same way from Manage blocked users for a specific member. You can also report from where you saw it: press and hold a message and tap Report message; open a photo and tap Report photo; or, in a group chat, open the chat's menu and tap Report content to report the whole chat. You do not need to leave the app, and you do not need the other member's permission.
By email
Email contact@heysoror.io. This channel works whether or not you have the app installed or an account, and it is monitored by the same team.
If a child is in immediate danger
Contact your local law enforcement first. In the United States you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678. Reporting to the authorities does not replace telling us, and telling us does not replace reporting to the authorities — please do both.
What we do when we receive a report
Reports of CSAE are handled ahead of all other reports. Where a report is substantiated, we will:
- Remove the content from the Platform
- Permanently terminate the account, and any other account we associate with it
- Preserve the account records and reported content for law enforcement
- Report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as United States law requires of us
- Cooperate with valid legal process from law enforcement and child-protection authorities
We retain records of safety reports and of the decisions we make on them, including after an account is deleted, so that a terminated member cannot erase the record by leaving. Our Privacy Policy describes that retention.
Compliance with child safety law
HeySoror complies with the child safety laws that apply to us in the jurisdictions where we operate. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and to regional and national authorities where the law requires it, and we respond to valid legal process from law enforcement and child-protection agencies.
